Product Description:
Hi-temperature coatings are formulated from the finest pigments and silicone resins to yield
coatings suitable for use on surfaces having temperatures ranging between 450°F (232°C)
to 2500°F (1371°C). These coatings are designed for use on hot surfaces, such as super
heated steam lines, boiler casings, boiler drums, super heated headers, radiators, mufflers,
boiler house stacks, jet exhaust protectors, etc. Care should be taken to ensure that
the maximum temperature of the surface does not exceed the maximum service rated
temperature for the coating.

Surface Preparation:
All surfaces must be dry and free of contaminant’s. For best results, a white metal base is
recommended. All dust, grit and other foreign matter must be removed. The surface must be
coated before rust or contamination occurs.

No priming is necessary. These coatings adhere well to blasted surfaces. Apply by rolling,
spraying or brushing.
Stir material thoroughly, until mixed. Avoid blending air into the material. Strain before using.
Can be applied by brush,roller or spray. Wherever possible, spray application is recommended,
as it yields a more uniform finish.Two coats are recommended to achieve a dry film
thickness of 2 mils.

Drying and Curing:
Dries to touch in approximately one hour. Allow at least 1-1/2 hours drying time between
coats. After final coat is applied, allow at least one hour drying at ambient temperature
before increasing temperature for heat curing, per schedule.

Is not recommended, however, for spray application, use Xylene or Tolueneif if necessary to
thin. No other reducer should be used. Clean equipment with Xylene or Toluene, immediately
after use.

Standard packaging, 1 gallon, 5 gallon and 55 gallon containers.
Adequate ventilation must be provided during and after application until the coating has
dried. Avoid breathing vapors or spray mist.
The liquid coating contains volatile (flammable) solvents. Due care must be exercised
during and after application until coatings dry.

NOTE: All porous surfaces should be properly sealed before applying fire retardant paint
or varnish.
